Through it's MessageLabs SkyScan portfolio of services (anti-virus, anti-spam & anti-porn) Our customers can be protected from email-borne threats such as viruses, unsolicited mail and pornographic material, before such content comes anywhere near their network boundaries.

The Onyx group were one of the first providers of BT's UK wide broadband services and more recently has worked closely with BT in the North East, in establishing the region's rollout of broadband. Today we have many broadband customers across the UK so maintaining this relationship is vital to our customers. Recently Onyx launched BT's new SDSL service, which is currently available across 20 towns and cities with more planned for coming months. In addition we use BT fibre in the provision of leased line services. Many of customer request BT connectivity as it still regarded as the premium service in the market place.

We partner with THUS telecom to provide alternative cost-effective fibre for leased line services. THUS part of THUS Plc, is one of the UK's leading communications companies, dedicated to providing individual, integrated solutions in partnership with its customers. In addition to provide connectivity for customer, THUS is one of the key suppliers of capacity for Onyx Internet's UK wide backbone.

We partner with cable company Telewest to provide even greater choice and better service for customers. Connecting Onyx's state of the art UK network to Telewest's fibre optic network brings faster access for our customers and underpins our commitment to roll out a range of broadband Internet solutions for business.

Accreditations/Memberships

The Onyx Group were one of the first members of the London Internet Neutral Exchange (LINX), which is the major peering point for Internet traffic in the UK. We supported this organisation from an early stage and now peer with over 90 of the worlds largest Internet providers. Membership allows Onyx to provide faster access to the Internet for our customers and gives smaller ISP's faster access to our UK network.

We are one of the biggest registers of .uk domains in the UK and have been members of Nominet for over 5 years. We are involved heavily in the development of domain registrations within the UK.

The Onyx Group are members of RIPE, the Internet Registry for Europe . RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) is a collaborative forum open to all parties interested in wide area IP networks. The objective of RIPE is to ensure the administrative and technical coordination necessary to enable the operation of the Internet within the RIPE region.
